MAR 16:9, Now when Jesus was risen early the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had cast seven devils. ... 19 So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.
LUK 23:54 And that day was the preparation, and the
sabbath drew on. 55 And
the women also, which came with him from Galilee, followed after, and
beheld the sepulchre, and how his body was laid. 24:1
Now upon the first day of the week,
very early in the morning, they came unto the sepulchre, bringing the
spices which they had prepared, and certain others with them. 2 And
they found the stone rolled away from the sepulchre. 3 And they
entered in, and found not the body of the Lord Jesus...
13 And, behold, two of them went that same day to
a village called Emmaus, which was from Jerusalem about threescore
furlongs. ... 15 And it came to pass, that, while they communed
together and reasoned, Jesus himself drew near, and went with them.
... 51 And it came to pass, while he blessed them, he
was parted from them, and carried up into heaven.
JOH 19:31 The Jews therefore, because it was the preparation, that the bodies should not remain upon the cross on the sabbath day, (for that sabbath day was an high day,) besought Pilate that their legs might be broken, and that they might be taken away.
JOH 20:1 The first day of the week cometh Mary Magdalene early, when it was yet dark, unto the sepulchre, and seeth the stone taken away from the sepulchre. ... 17 Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God. ...26 And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you.
21:1 After these things Jesus shewed himself again to
the disciples at the sea of Tiberias; and on this wise shewed he
himself. ... 14 This is now the third time that Jesus shewed himself
to his disciples, after that he was risen from the dead.
ACT 1:1-3, The former treatise have I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach, Until the day in which he was taken up, after that he through the Holy Ghost had given commandments unto the apostles whom he had chosen: To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God: ... 9 And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.
ACT 13:30-31, But God raised him from the dead: And he was seen many days of them which came up with him from Galilee to Jerusalem, who are his witnesses unto the people.
MAR 16:7, But go your way, tell his disciples and Peter that he goeth
before you into Galilee:
there shall ye see him, as he said unto you. ... 19 So then after the
Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.
LUK 24:50-51, And he led them out as far as to Bethany, and he lifted up his hands, and blessed them. And it came to pass, while he blessed them, he was parted from them, and carried up into heaven.
ACT 1:9, And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. ... 12 Then returned they unto Jerusalem from the mount called Olivet, which is from Jerusalem a sabbath day's journey.
JOH 20:17-22, Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for
I am not yet ascended to my Father: but
go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and
your Father; and to my God, and your God. Mary Magdalene came and
told the disciples that she had seen the Lord, and that he had spoken
these things unto her. Then the same day at evening,
being the first day of the week,
when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear
of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them,
Peace be unto you. And when he had so said, he shewed unto them his
hands and his side. Then were the disciples glad, when they saw the
Lord. Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father
hath sent me, even so send I you. And when he had said this, he
breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost:
ACT 1:9, And when he had said these things, while they were looking, he was taken up, and went from their view into a cloud. ... 2:1-4, And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
LUK 1:15, John the Baptist had the Holy Spirit from before his birth or the birth of Jesus.
LUK 2:25, And, behold, there was a man in Jerusalem, whose name was
and the same man was just and devout, waiting for the consolation of
Israel: and the Holy Ghost was upon him.
JOH 7:39, (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)
ACT 1:15. And in those days Peter stood up in the midst of the disciples,
and said, (the number of names together were about an hundred and twenty,)
1COR 15:4-7, And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles.
ACT 22:11, And when I could not see for the glory of that light,
being led by the hand of them that were with me, I came into Damascus.
ACT 26:13-16, ... for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness both of these things which thou hast seen, and of those things in the which I will appear unto thee;
ACT 9:7, And the men which journeyed with him stood speechless, hearing a voice, but seeing no man.
ACT 22:9, And they that were with me saw indeed the light, and were afraid; but they heard not the voice of him that spake to me.
ACT 26:14, And when we were all fallen to the earth, I heard a voice speaking unto me,
ACT 26:15, And I said, Who art thou, Lord? And he said, I am Jesus whom
thou persecutest. 16 But rise, and stand upon thy feet: for I have
appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness
both of these things which thou hast seen, and of those things in the
which I will appear unto thee; 17 Delivering thee from the people,
and from the Gentiles, unto whom now I send thee, 18 To open their
eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of
Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and
inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.
ACT 22:10, And I said, What shall I do, Lord? And the Lord said unto me, Arise, and go into Damascus; and there it shall be told thee of all things which are appointed for thee to do.
ACT 9:23, ... the Jews took counsel to kill him:
2COR 11:32, In Damascus the governor under Aretas the king kept the city of the Damascenes with a garrison, desirous to apprehend me:
ACT 9:19, ... Then was Saul certain days with the disciples which were at
Damascus. ... 26 And when Saul was come to Jerusalem....
GAL 1:17, Neither went I up to Jerusalem to them which were apostles before me; but I went into Arabia, and returned again unto Damascus.
GAL 1:15-16, But when it pleased God,
who separated me from my mother's womb, and called me by his grace,
To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen....
ACT 9:17, And Ananias went his way, and entered into the house; and putting his hands on him said, Brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus, that appeared unto thee in the way as thou camest, hath sent me, that thou mightest receive thy sight, and be filled with the Holy Ghost.
ACT 21:15, And after those days we took up our carriages, and went up to Jerusalem. ... 17 And when we were come to Jerusalem, the brethren received us gladly. 18 And the day following Paul went in with us unto James; and all the elders were present.
ACT 22:3, I am verily a man which am a Jew, born in Tarsus, a city in Cilicia, yet
brought up in this city [Jerusalem] at the feet of Gamaliel, and taught
according to the perfect manner of the law of the fathers, and was zealous toward God,
as ye all are this day. 4 And I persecuted this way unto the death,
binding and delivering into prisons both men and women.
GAL 1:21, Afterwards I came into the regions of Syria and Cilicia; 22 And was unknown by face unto the churches of Judaea which were in Christ:
ACT 9:26-28, And when Saul was come to Jerusalem, he assayed to join
himself to the disciples: but they were all afraid of him, and
believed not that he was a disciple. But Barnabas
took him, and brought him to the apostles,
and declared unto them how he had seen the Lord in the way, and that
he had spoken to him, and how he had preached boldly at Damascus in
the name of Jesus. And he was with them coming in and going out at Jerusalem.
GAL 1:18-19, Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to see Peter, and abode with him fifteen days. But other of the apostles saw I none, save James the Lord's brother.
ACT 15:7 And when there had been much disputing, Peter rose up, and said
unto them, Men and brethren, ye know how that a good while ago God
made choice among us, that the Gentiles by my mouth should hear the
word of the gospel, and believe. 8 And God, which knoweth the hearts,
bare them witness, giving them the Holy Ghost, even as he did unto
us; 9 And put no difference between us and them,
purifying their hearts by faith. 10 Now therefore why tempt ye God,
to put a yoke upon the neck of the disciples, which neither our
fathers nor we were able to bear? 11 But we believe that through the grace
of the Lord Jesus Christ we shall be saved, even as they....
GAL 2:11, But when Peter was come to Antioch, I withstood him to the face, because he was to be blamed. ... 14 But when I saw that they walked not uprightly according to the truth of the gospel, I said unto Peter before them all, If thou, being a Jew, livest after the manner of Gentiles, and not as do the Jews, why compellest thou the Gentiles to live as do the Jews?
MAT 28:19, Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in
the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
1COR 1:1, Paul, called to be an apostle of Jesus Christ through the will of God, and Sosthenes our brother ... 17 For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect.
1COR 1:16-17, And I baptized also the household of Stephanas: besides,
I know not whether I baptized any other.
For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with
wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect.
ACT 16:14-15, And a certain woman named Lydia, a seller of purple, of the city of Thyatira, which worshipped God, heard us: whose heart the Lord opened, that she attended unto the things which were spoken of Paul. And when she was baptized, and her household, she besought us, saying, If ye have judged me to be faithful to the Lord, come into my house, and abide there. And she constrained us.
ACT 16:27, And the keeper of the prison... 30 ... said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? ... 33 And he took them the same hour of the night, and washed their stripes; and was baptized, he and all his, straightway.
ACT 18:8, And Crispus, the chief ruler of the synagogue, believed on the Lord with all his house; and many of the Corinthians hearing believed, and were baptized.

1COR 10:33, Even as I please all men in all things,
not seeking mine own profit, but the profit of many, that they may be saved.
GAL 1:10, For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.
2COR 12:16, But be it so, I did not burden you: nevertheless, being
crafty, I caught you with guile.
1THE 2:3, For our exhortation was not of deceit, nor of uncleanness, nor in guile:
1COR 15:10, But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.
2COR 11:5, For I suppose I was not a whit behind the very chiefest apostles.... 16, I say again, Let no man think me a fool; if otherwise, yet as a fool receive me, that I may boast myself a little. 17 That which I speak, I speak it not after the Lord, but as it were foolishly, in this confidence of boasting. 18 Seeing that many glory after the flesh, I will glory also.
2COR 12:11, I am become a fool in glorying; ye have compelled me: for I ought to have been commended of you: for in nothing am I behind the very chiefest apostles, though I be nothing.

1COR 1:28, And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are: 29 That no flesh should glory in his presence.

1COR 15:9, For I am the least of the apostles, that am not meet to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.
EPH 3:8, Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ;
GAL 2:20, I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ
liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the
Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
ROM 7:18, For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not.
1THE 2:2, But even after that we had suffered before, and were shamefully
entreated, as ye know, at Philippi, we were bold
in our God to speak unto you the gospel of God with much contention.
1THE 2:17-18, But we, brethren, being taken from you for a short time in presence, not in heart, endeavoured the more abundantly to see your face with great desire. Wherefore we would have come unto you, even I Paul, once and again; but Satan hindered us.
ACT 16:6, Now when they had gone throughout Phrygia and the region of
Galatia, and were forbidden of the Holy Ghost to preach the word in Asia.
ACT 19:8-10, And he went into the synagogue, and spake boldly for the space of three months, disputing and persuading the things concerning the kingdom of God. But when divers were hardened, and believed not, but spake evil of that way before the multitude, he departed from them, and separated the disciples, disputing daily in the school of one Tyrannus. And this continued by the space of two years; so that all they which dwelt in Asia heard the word of the Lord Jesus, both Jews and Greeks.
[NOTE: Between ACT 16:6 and 19:10 there is no mention of the Asian ban being lifted. - p.b.]
ACT 17:22 Then Paul stood in the midst of Mars' hill, and said, Ye men of
Athens, I perceive that in all things ye are too superstitious. 23
For as I passed by, and beheld your devotions, I found an altar with
this inscription, TO THE UNKNOWN GOD. Whom therefore ye
ignorantly worship, him declare I unto you. ... 30 And
the times of this ignorance God winked at;
but now commandeth all men every where to repent:
ROM 1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; 19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for strong>God hath shewed it unto them. 20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: ... 24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness ... 26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections ... 28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind
1JOH 3:8-9, He that committeth sin is of the devil;
for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of
God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth
in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
1TIM 1:15, This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.
1COR 12:31 But covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet shew I unto you a more excellent way.
1COR 14:39 Wherefore, brethren, covet to prophesy,
and forbid not to speak with tongues.
ROM 7:7 What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet.
ROM 13:9 For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
2COR 8:16-17, But thanks be to God, which put the same earnest care into
the heart of Titus for you. For indeed he accepted the exhortation;
but being more forward, of his own accord he went unto you.
2COR 12:18, I desired Titus, and with him I sent a brother.
